Hello, I’m Kate

I have experienced how transformational therapy can be in helping people understand themselves, their past, and how they connect with others. I began training as a psychotherapist in 2023. Before this, I ran a boutique B&B — an experience that gave me a real, lived understanding of the pressures, stresses and transitions that running a business and everyday life can bring. Since starting my training, I've spent two years working within a domestic violence charity and a low-cost counselling service, supporting people through a wide range of life's difficulties.

How We Will Work Together

I am an integrative therapist, which means I bring together all the different aspects of my training and experience to find the best way of working with each individual. No two people are the same, and therapy shouldn't be one-size-fits-all. My practice is grounded in Relational Transactional Analysis, and where helpful, I also bring in Sandtray Therapy, offering another way to explore what's difficult to put into words. Together, we create a safe, collaborative space to explore what's happening for you today, and the past experiences that may still be shaping it. We can work through difficult feelings — grief, shame, sadness, anger, or regret — in a confidential, supportive environment, so you can feel calmer, more grounded, and more able to live the life you want.
